Ways to Use the Vision Cards

Vision Cards Rainbow Layout

Since we first devised the Vision Cards we’ve used them with various groups and individuals.  We’ve been very struck by how much of a connection people make with the cards.  What has hit us over and over again is how this changes each time the cards are used.

The booklet that accompanies the Vision Cards gives one layout - the “Where you are now” layout.  Part of the reason for only including one layout was that we recognise people will develop their own way of working with the cards and we wanted to avoid any feeling that this was a process that was ‘set in stone’.  However, as we’ve used the cards more and more we’ve found that by asking particular questions in a certain order there can be a different connection to the cards and an unfolding of answers within that people find helpful.  We've put together some descriptions of the following new layouts that you could use in conjunction with the Vision Cards:

  • Where you are now
  • Window
  • Staircase
  • Diamond
  • Rainbow
  • New Year

Using different layouts enables us to shift our focus.  Sometimes this may be on refining, strengthening or deepening our sense of vision.  At other times there may be more emphasis on the process of putting that vision into practice.  There may also be a need for more stress on the personal dimension on occasion, as translating a vision into action can highlight aspects of ourselves of which we are not always aware. You may find that you develop new ways of working as you become more aware of what you need to look at in the process or as new questions come to the surface for you.  If you'd like a copy of the new layouts we've developed, please email us and we'll send you a copy.

The Vision Cards can help us to work with something that might seem insubstantial or difficult to take hold of at times.  However, we hope that using them will help you to see more clearly what lies within, as you bring your vision into action.  They can also act as a reminder of all the resources that you have available in order to take this process through to fruition.  We wish you joy and fulfilment as you take further steps along this path.
